MASTER SUCCESS WITH LASER FOCUS

Real Estate Agents can master success through their focus.

Do you understand why, in order to master success, you must concentrate like a laser?

Think about a laser beam. Where is the light source?

  • Is it broad, encompassing numerous points?

  • Is it focused, limited, and aimed solely at that one thing?

Each of us has experienced both real and fake lasers (think of Star Trek and their phasers).

And the majority of the time, when we ask someone to picture a laser, they describe it as a narrow, concentrated beam that is directed at only one particular location.

Lasers are similar to the fovea of human eyes, where we can only see 2% of the area that is currently visible.

The other 98% is referred to as the peripheral, where motion is visible.

And for those who have mastered success, they know how to concentrate their efforts on that 2% beam of light to snag the remaining 98%.

Our eyes are sensitive to colour and detail in the fovea. The eyes acquire information while the brain analyzes it during the entire process of seeing.

Because of this, different things are perceived when people try to describe any circumstance, such as how someone looks or a suspect who is running away.

Every person's brain interprets the 2% that is focused on by their fovea in a unique way. That explains why most people perceive the same landscape in various ways.

Focus is a skill that people may master to achieve success. They must first comprehend the actual operation of their eyes as well as the crucial connection between the eyes and the brain.

When we are instructed to concentrate like a laser, we must stop thinking about everything else and concentrate entirely on the question or issue at hand.

Many people find this challenging since we are not taught to think in that manner.

We are easily sidetracked and distracted for a variety of reasons, including:

  • Self-imposed limitations

  • Poor attitudes

  • Ego in wanting to discuss what we consider is important

  • Ignorance to truly not knowing enough about the question to be answered or issue being discussed

  • Lack of self-leadership skills

Focus takes practice. However, by learning how to remove the 98% peripheral stuff, you can achieve focus and clarity of thought. And by those actions, you can and will master success.

It takes practice to focus. However, you can gain focus and clarity of thinking by discovering how to cut out the 98% of irrelevant information. And you can and will master success by doing those steps.
